Earrings with pearls
These are luxurious Baroque cluster earrings decorated with cellular pink, light green or bluish enamel tendrils with associated larger or finer natural irregular pearls. This type of earring was very popular in Europe of the Baroque period and is known as the "girandola". The drawings from the 18th century have been preserved in a goldsmith's notebook from the island of Korčula. Earrings of this type were gladly worn in Dubrovnik in the 17th century. In a simpler version, this type of earrings has been preserved throughout the Dubrovnik region, and wider from the Bay of Kotor to Korčula.
Traditional earrings "Bags with pearls" are offered in different sizes, and they are made of 14 carat gold. All products are handmade in Dubrovnik in our workshops paying special attention to every detail of the workmanship, while bringing the emotion of the history and tradition of the old town of Dubrovnik when making jewelry.
